PHILOSPHICAL THOUGHTS...How can anyone be an on-guage knitter because each person creating the pattern has their own guage, whether it be loose or tight. You would have to be a knitting chameleon to constanly be on-guage. Exhausting.
I don't think there is such a thing. When I do take the time to do a gauge swatch, alot of times even if I'm using the same yarn and needles as the pattern calls for, I don't get gauge. There are so many variables, and that's not even counting what happens after blocking! Thanks for the compliments on the mittens! Hopefully I won't get second mitten syndrome....
