These are the wrist warmers from Speed Knitting that I've been working on. They are so quick to knit up. I started them at knit club and goofed off for most of the night and I just finished them. I'd say they take about 2 1/2 hours to complete at the most.

I made these for a girl in my counseling class. I don't actually even know her first name, but she liked some arm warmers that I designed myself, but I wanted to knit some that would go very quickly so my procrastination wouldn't hurt me too much. I'm not good with knitting deadlines and knitting "have tos." They hug the wrist very nicely in a comfortable and warm way. I highly recommend them. They would be a very quick Xmas gift. I plan on making 3 more pairs for gifts.

I had such a great time at knit night too, it's such a great group of people, I look forward to many more Monday nights and getting to know you better. If theree were a contest for knit clubs ours would totally rule :D And your wrist warmers are great! What yarn did you use?

Ok, love that yarn more now that it's done than when you first started it. Thank you SOOOOO much for the pattern. I'm excited about making some myself, I knew it was an easy pattern but what's sure exactly what you were doing. Thanks for the sweater advise too, I do like the one in last minute knitted gifts, but I think I'm going to use that multi colored cardigan from Interweave, I should get my yarn in this weekend! Thanks again, you're a doll!

K, I'm an idiot, I didn't even read the last half of what you wrote me. I'd be happy to help you with buttons sometime! It's really easy (I admit though I had to have someone more savy than I help me ;)

i read all of your comments. you girls are crazy with the buttons. i suck at buttons so will you guys teach me when you're done. so i didn't like that yarn color but i didn't want to tell you, but now that they're done, i love it. and now i want to freakin make some. i want something other than the ones i made. they suck. and they're too delicate.

No problemo with the pattern. I'm taking notes as I go. Hopefully our husbands are the same size, Rob usually wears a M/L size in BR clothes, I'll have to check the size on that grey sweater, I'll let you know.
